SHOW ME THE MONET
When I lived on the east coast, I loved going to the Museum of Modern Art in NYC and looking at Monet's water lily paintings. Recently I've been thinking about how I would approach his iconic subject. These paintings are based on the lily pond in the sculpture garden of the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, CA, which is, itself, inspired by Monet.
